Definitely a better film than the second, but I enjoyed it less. I think I just got fed up with the sheer vapid nature of the movies. Really disappointing when the original was such a surprisingly good film. Bay finally learnt that having too frenetic a battle scene with the robots made it near impossible to tell what the hell was going on, so the action is shot a lot better this time. Still, the movies are really big budget dumb movies, and I think my patience for this has grown a little thin.
